The flower show at Rockford Park (this weekend) has seriously torn up our fields, and we have been kindly advised by the Park Ranger to use alternative fields for our remaining games this season, including the tournament.

The remaining games for the season will now be at Alapocas Run State Park. In addition, we will be having a makeup game at the park for last week’s rained out game.  This game will begin at 3PM this Sunday, followed by our regular season game at 5:30PM.  Also, the final tournament the following weekend will be at 3PM.  So games begin at 3PM this Sunday and next Sunday at Alapocas Run State Park.
About Alapocas Run State Park:
This is the brand new park by Blue Ball Barn — the fields are flatter, more even, and, perhaps softer and drier.  Due to its proximity to 95, this should be an easier field to get to for most folks (sorry folks living in Greenville area!)  This is a State Park, so if you do not have a parking sticker, be prepared to pay the parking fee (though there are a few free spots).  Added bonus:  This is where the summer league games will take place, so you can preview the much nicer fields early!
The fields are by the Can-Do playground.  Parking is just off Weldin Rd.
Directions from 95 (N or S):  Take the Concord Pike (202) exit North.  Stay in the right hand lane and exit immediately onto 261(N) Foulk Rd.  Stay North (bear right — do NOT follow signs to Blue Ball Barn) and make the first right onto Weldin Rd.  Make your first right into the parking lot (if this lot is full, use the lot on the other side of Weldin).  Our field is the first field you see up the hill, surrounded by Weldin and Foulk Roads.
Map of the park is here, as well as alternative driving directions (but follow signs to Can-Do playground, NOT blue ball barn):

Make up game TBD.
