First, thanks to all of those fine artists who submitted a design.  They were all winners in our books.  We narrowed the pool down to three choices.  It’s your duty (hee hee, duty…) to vote for your favorite design, which will be printed on all League discs for 2011.  These designs are concepts and may be modified slightly to fit the requirements to be printed on a disc. (They are listed in the order in which they were received.

Teams have been chosen for the 2010 Delaware Ultimate Summer League.  Check out the list here (https://scorereport.net/ultimate/dsl/rosters.html). The schedule can be found here (https://scorereport.net/ultimate/dsl/schedule.html).

Please note we play on fields 2&3 this season, which are bisected by the can-do playground at Alapocas Run State Park.  If you are game 1 or 2, you play on field 3 (closest to the main parking lot), and if you are game 3 or 4, you play on field 2 (just past the construction site).

Summer League registration is open.  PADA is using a new league registration site, which is more reliable and easier to use.

Captains have drafted their teams!  You should be hearing from your captain shortly with some more information.  IF you don’t hear from anyone soon, your captain may not like you, or you were not registered (correctly).  If that is the case, get in touch with Josh AT delawareultimate DOT com and let him know asap.

Registration is open!  Games will be played on Sundays from 3:00 to 5:00, beginning on 4/4 and running to 5/16.  We will also have two double headers, which will play from 5:00 to 7:00 — a nearly full day of ulty fun!   Finals tournament will be on 5/23 (sun) from 10AM to 4PM.

We are still working to open up the spring league registration, but it is all set.  Games will be played on Sundays from 3:00 to 5:00, beginning on 4/4 and running to 5/16.  We will also have two double headers, which will play from 5:00 to 7:00 — a nearly full day of ulty fun!   Finals tournament will be on 5/23 (sun) from 10AM to 4PM.
We will plan to have six teams, but will shoot for eight teams!   What will keep it from happening?? WOMEN!  We need more women to register.  If we get more women, we can have more teams — it is that simple.  So if you know a woman who is interested in a fun, active sport with great people on the nicest fields in Delaware, bring them out to the hat tournament to check it out!  Plus, to encourage women, all women who are brand new to the sport will have their spring league registration waived.  So go out there, tell you female friends that they can try out ultimate for free, plus they will still get the league disc to take with them!

Also new for 2010:
*  New discs!  Thanks to Matt Jones for the design, and we are working to get these printed out.  *  Awards!  This year we will have prizes for the winning team, and spirit awards!  *  New website!  Thanks to Pat Walters for always doing such an awesome job with the website.
