Hat Tournament March 29, 2009:
This year we will kick off the season with a hat tournament.  For a hat tournament, players show up, put their name in the proverbial hat, we draw teams at random, then play a mini-tournament with our respective teams.  Hat tournament begins at 10am, Sunday, March 29, at Rockford Park in Wilmington (fields in front of the Rockford Tower).  Bring yourself, a white shirt and a dark shirt, water, cleats, and $5.  We will divide into 4 teams and play 2-3 games!  We will also have some pizzas delivered to the fields for lunch!  Once play is finished, we will form spring league teams.  Note: You do not have to be playing in spring league to play in the hat tournament.

Free Skills Clinic:
Join us for a skills clinic on Monday, March 30 at 6pm at Lums Pond State Park in Bear, DE.  We will cover the basics of forehand and backhand throws, throwing to a moving receiver, cutting effectively, basic offense (stack), basic defense (marking, positioning), and play in a scrimmage.  Bring your friends who want to learn the game.  Open to men and women, aged 16 or older, free of charge.  Bring water, cleats if you have them, and appropriate attire for running.  Meet at Area 3 (football field on the left).  There is a fee to enter the park; $3 for DE registered vehicles, $6 for out-of-state registered vehicles.  Contact nicole at delawareultimate dot com with questions.
