Thanks to everyone that was on Black for a great spring season. From left to right in the photo: Nick Satinover, Rob Harford, Gary Burcham, Sarah Flynn, Greg Young, Brett Pfeil, Linda Estevez, Steve Walker, Matt Jones, and Haus. Not shown but made significant contributions to the team: Pat Walters, Mike Panhuise, and Emily Burgun.
The make-up game between white and orange was a fun, spirited game of ultimate highlighted by two key points: 1. Alex’s catching clinic where he caught every disc, except the one in play on field 4 2. Sarah’s remarkable callahan
And we’re back with this weeks addition of THE CUT!!!!
How do you beat a team full of skilled and experienced handlers, as well as equally capable deep cutters? Well, you can’t, apparently, as evidenced by Blue’s decisive victory over Yellow yesterday, 15-8. Blue’s combination of downfield hucks and mistake-free movement were too much for yellow to overcome.
Black may have taken the game, but Red won on spirit. Instead of playing a 6 vs 7 game, the Red team had their ladies swing both ways, including the captain herself, Elise. Boosted by the addition of a “Red team” women, the Black team was too much of a force, even for the aerial–dragonball Z–stylings of Dustin to overcome. Thanks for a great game.

Yellow had its hands full with a tall, fast green squad who kept the game extremely close throughout. Yellow took the half, but green stormed back in the 2nd to tighten it up. Despite tired legs and stubborn resistance, Yellow was able to eke out a close victory, 15-13.
Sunday was another windy day. First few points flipped and flopped between Black and White, til Black took the lead. Then White took a shot of power milk, or something, and had a 5 point run. Black responded. A cap was threatened, but denied. White put up a good fight, but Black brought it back. Good game was had by all!!!
