League modifications to 11th Ed. Rules:

·          Games will be to 13 with half at 7 due to time restrictions.  A Soft Time Cap may be set, either by league organizers or team captains (+2 to highest score, winner is first to reach this score, winner DOES NOT have to win by 2).

·          Gender ratio will be 5:2.  Captains can agree to play 4:3 or a 4:3/5:2 combo in which the offense decides the ratio.  If a team only has 1 woman, that team will play 5:1.

PADA Elections

July 27th, 2008 | Posted by Pat in Community | League News and Information | PADA - (0 Comments)

Dear Summer League Captains:

On behalf of the election committee and the current PADA board, we’d like to announce that the 2009 election season has just opened. Please help us to circulate the following information to your team:

There are 4 open positions in this election; let’s spread the word and recruit individuals who will represent our interests for the next two years. If anyone from your team is interested in running, please have them contact the election committee in person or via email to electionsATpadaDOTorg.   We are now accepting names and pictures of candidates to post onto the website. The last day for candidate declarations is Wednesday, July 30th.  Complete information about board elections can be found at http://www.pada.org/election/info.

Additionally, please encourage your teammates and PADA friends to get involved in voting this year.  Elections were incredibly close last year and every vote counts. This year we’re introducing online voting to facilitate the voting process and encourage increased voter turnout. We hope that this will better serve the PADA community, including the satellite leagues. Your encouragement and leadership will help make this a successful election.

Thanks for your help!
The Election Committee
