Spring League Registration

It’s time to start thinking about warmer weather and your future with a disc of plastic. Spring league registrations are open!

If you don’t care about the fine print and will register for anything ultimate, you can register here.

Otherwise, here is what you need to know!

The league begins on April 1 (Sun), and runs through May 12 (finals Saturday). All regular season games will be on Sundays at 3PM, with an occasional double header at 5PM. Finals will be on May 12th from 1PM to 7PM. All games (and clinics) will be at Alapocas Run State Park in Wilmington.

Cost is $25 (plus $10 PADA membership, for insurance), which gives you games games games! And a disc with the sparkly new 2012 design and other little goodies (season opening cookout? End of season party? All to be announced…) ALSO! For women new to the sport of ultimate, we will waive the $25 registration fee! Just use DESPRING2012 coupon code. Let your female friends, coworkers, yoga buddies know!

Sectionals

This past weekend, Delaware hosted the 2011 USA Ultimate Founders Club Mixed Sectionals at Alapocas Run State Park. A huge thanks to our very own Andrew Wisor for putting everything together and pulling off a great tournament. Our two Delaware teams, DErty People and DElirium took part in the event. DErty People finished 4th overall, with a berth to Regionals. DElirium finished with a respectable 15th place tie. Congrats to all players and thanks to all helpers.

Well, you can’t, apparently, as evidenced by Blue’s decisive victory over Yellow yesterday, 15-8. Blue’s combination of downfield hucks and mistake-free movement were too much for yellow to overcome.
