DELAWARE ULTIMATE LEAGUE: Fall League 2008 Information
Registration for Fall League 2008 is now CLOSED! General Information
* Location: Rockford Park, Wilmington, Delaware (http://www.destateparks.com/wilmsp/rockfordmap.htm)
* Days: Tuesdays 9/9, 9/16, 9/23, 9/30, 10/7, 10/14 (rain dates: Mondays 10/6 and 10/13) Tournament Sat 10/18, 10 AM BONUS GAMES: Wednesdays, each team will play two teams from the Chester County Ultimate League, either at Rockford (home) or in Chester County (away) under the lights! Please note: Bonus games will not count towards final league standings.
* Times: 6pm (Chester County Bouns Games @ 8pm)
* Who: Men and Women, must be 16 years of age or older as of September 1, 2008 no prior experience necessary!
* What you get: a team, six games, final tournament, and an official REDESIGNED Delaware Ultimate Disc!
* Every effort will be made to make teams as equal as possible. Please fairly rate your skills during the registration process.
* Baggage requests for up to two players will be permitted, but all players must name each other during registration for requests to be honored.

Rules
We will follow the Offical Rules of Ultimate, 11th Edition which can be found at http://www.upa.org/ultimate/rules/11th.
League modifications to 11th Ed. Rules:
· Games will be to 13 with half at 7 due to time restrictions. A Soft Time Cap may be set, either by league organizers or team captains (+2 to highest score, winner is first to reach this score, winner DOES NOT have to win by 2).
· Gender ratio will be 5:2. Captains can agree to play 4:3 or a 4:3/5:2 combo in which the offense decides the ratio. If a team only has 1 woman, that team will play 5:1.

Beginners’ Clinics
For those who are new to the sport or for those who want to help teach other beginners about ultimate!
September 2, 2008, 6 -8pm, Lums Pond State Park Area 3 - Learn: forehand and backhand throws, basic defense (marking, person-to-person defense, defensive positioning), basic offense (stacking, throwing to a moving receiver, cutting), and play in a short scrimmage!
* Bring sneakers (cleats if you have them), clothes appropriate for running, and water.
* There is no advance registration and no fee!
Registration Information
Cost is $15 per person + $10 annual Philadelphia Area Disc Alliance (PADA) membership fee (which covers insurance for this and all future leagues for 2008). Registration includes an official redesigned disc with the Delaware Ultimate logo and the tournament party.
Steps for registering:
1. Create account at PADA (or login if you are already a member)
2. If you are not already a PADA member, add PADA membership to shopping cart and electronically sign release. (If you participated in the Spring League you can skip this step)
3. Add Delaware Ultimate League to shopping cart
4. Check Out!
