Yellow had its hands full with a tall, fast green squad who kept the game extremely close throughout. Yellow took the half, but green stormed back in the 2nd to tighten it up. Despite tired legs and stubborn resistance, Yellow was able to eke out a close victory, 15-13.
Sunday was another windy day. First few points flipped and flopped between Black and White, til Black took the lead. Then White took a shot of power milk, or something, and had a 5 point run. Black responded. A cap was threatened, but denied. White put up a good fight, but Black brought it back. Good game was had by all!!!

Who would of thought that the Delaware DOC had an Ultimate team? The orange chain-gang of misfits, came out hot in the second game of the afternoon to score some quick points to take an early lead. The Black team fought hard to recover on some big hucks to bring the score to 7-8 at half. But the DOC team adjusted to Black’s defensive strategy and played smart by minimizing their turnovers, taking the in-cuts, and making some excellent break-mark throws to extend their lead in the second half. Black played hard to keep the game close but the mistakes added up and were eventually too much to recover from against a very good orange team.
Week two of league has passed and the competition is stepping up. There was some fierce playing today by all teams but these are a few pictures that made the cut for, HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY!!!!!
And thats it for this week, lets see some more skies and legit layouts next time and you, just might make THE CUT!
Blue played a tough, good spirited game even though they were savage most of the game.

In the wind-drenched confines of the Alapocas, two up and coming squads faced off, with Darrell/Katie (white) taking on Allan/Courtney (yellow). Points were hard to come by, as each team battled fierce winds and rusty winter mechanics. Both teams traded points at first, but yellow was able to take the half 8-5. Defense was very strong on both ends, and spirit was high. Yellow tacked on two more points to take a 10-5 lead, at which point the ranger intervened to truncate what would have certainly been a spirited White rally.
Forgot how frustrating man can be in this kind of wind. Games were capped, and we barely made it to half!
